TESTING NEW SITE COPY. THIS WILL CHANGE.
My office is just different. I have to start with there. Just about every aspect of my office and how it operates is…atypical. Just look how I started this introduction. Clearly, I’m not following the normal format.
Not every hand fits every glove. So, to give you a quick idea of what’s so different about my office, here’s a shortlist of a few of the more prominent features that set my little office apart from others. If the shortlist passes muster with you, keep reading to get a better idea of how my office works. Or you can skip straight to becoming a patient.
- zero cookie cutter, same-thing-every-time adjustments
- extremity adjustments (hands, feet, knees, shoulders, ribs, etc.) are included
- being on time and without interruption
- only my hands and my Chiropractic table are used to adjust
- focused on resolving current heath problems with the goal of having maintenance adjustments to avoid future health problems
There’s only one person who works at my office and that’s me; Manager and Operator all in one guy. Having just one person run a Chiropractic office comes with some extreme trade-offs. One example being I can no longer answer my business phone. As of early 2025, I have lost all control over my office phone. There can be over 70 calls per day that hit my office with less than 1% of calls per week coming from patients, or potential patients. Taking the time to block every new phone number that comes in is both an untenable and eternal task that I will not pursue. However, the trade-off swings in the patients’ favor while in my office. By setting my office phone to Do Not Disturb and breaking off the knob, my attention won’t be taken away by a ringing phone every 90 seconds. My focus will only be with the patient in front of me in the moment.
Of course, folks still need to get in touch with me. Thankfully, you have options. If you would like a quick response from me, send an email. If you’re in no hurry, leave a voicemail and I will return your call at the end of business the day I receive your message.
Another odd thing about my office is that I run on-time. There is no reason for me to double, triple, or quadruple book my schedule. I do not keep folks waiting. Of course, there are rare occasions where I may have to spend a little more time with a patient in order to chase down what their issue is. However, that could be you I’m spending more time working with rather than the patient who’s waiting to be seen next. That’s the only slack I give myself for not being able to keep to my schedule. In the event I’m I’m inexcusably late for an appointment, there will not be a fee.
I will not rush. Even as a student in Chiropractic school, I balked at and openly questioned Chiropractors who touted running hundreds, or even thousands, of patients through their office doors each week. If you’re looking for an adjustment somewhere in the 90-second to 5-minute range, that’s not happening at my place.
Quite often, folks reach out to a Chiropractor after a problem has made itself known. At my office, resolving a patient’s current health issue is always a goal of mine. However, my main focus is preventing future heath issues by providing the necessary maintenance care and education that is required to keep a human body functioning at its particular 100 percent. Every machine requires maintenance to function optimally and to maximize its lifespan. Your human body is a machine. Just like every machine, the human body needs its parts to be in their optimal position to achieve their optimal function. Without maintenance, every machine functions sub-optimally.
My office does not stock, sell, or use: pillows, nutrition supplements, essential or nonessential oils, crystals, magnets, hocus or pocus, therapeutic modalities*, massage, physiotherapy, or Chiropractic adjusting instruments. And there is a ZERO percent chance of me yanking your head with a strap, sheet, towel, or anything else. It’s just my hands, my Chiropractic table, and science that I’m working with at my office.
*Occasionally, and under very specific circumstances, I will use a Theragun. Also, I hope to be able to make custom orthotics at a reasonable price by the Summer of 2025.
OLD COPY (still all true):
The way I do business here at Conway Family Chiropractic is how I think all business should be done. I believe in honesty, integrity, and always delivering more than what was expected. I listen to our patients making sure to take the time to get to know them as well as understanding what their individual needs are. Educating patients about Chiropractic care as well as what to expect while under our care is paramount to ensuring that everyone can experience the full health potential their body can achieve when choosing a natural approach to healthcare. Because there is so much to learn about Chiropractic care, I explain to patients in small increments what this profession is about rather than lecturing for hours on end. As a result, I have found that patients have a better understanding of what the focus of Chiropractic is as well as better appreciating the health and financial benefits of taking part in Chiropractic care. So, if you have any questions or would like more information about what this office can do for you, don’t hesitate to ask.
